Dear Wayne,

My own abstinence statement is virtually identical to Brother Rod's.

Thanks for you and Mrs. Wayne's teamwork in slugging it out over at SBTC blog. It was nice of Dr. R to let me get in the last word.

Thank you very much for the flower bulbs. That was a very kind gesture, and I appreciate it. To be honest, when I saw the box was from you, I just knew it was going to be a bottle of wine of some sort, and I was wondering what in the world I would do with it. Imagine my relief when I opened it!

Adjusting for the fact that I am 250 miles south of you, and that it is about 5-7 degrees warmer here (107 here today, instead of just 100 there), when should I plant them?

Love in Christ,

Jeff
